How to approach a girl with another guy in her group

So you see a girl you want to talk to, but...darn it you see another guy in her group.

Most guys will back down instead of approaching that girl because he is either afraid of the guy's reaction that is next to her, he is nervous that the guy might laugh/ mock him, or he is afraid that guy might want to fight him.

This is not true at all. The majority of guys will not do anything at all.

Why? Because it is just illogical for a guy to do anything if you follow this guide.

First of all if he is not going out with her, it would be way over line to fight you for her.
Second of all if he is going out with her, you will find out in the first few seconds and move on from that.

So the easiest question to ask when you see such a situation is to gently ask the girl , "Is this your boyfriend?" or "Are any of these guys your boyfriend?"

If the answer is yes, you can calmly reply with "okay I just had to find out for myself. You are very cute and I just wanted to say Hi." Then you leave.
If the answer is no, you can proceed to flirt with her.

It is great to respect a girl's relationship, do not force on her if she is taken. Girls of status dislike guys with such mentality.

Now if you have established that she is single. You can comfortably talk to the girl as if the guy was not there.
The key note: HITTING ON HER AS IF THE GUY WAS NOT EVEN THERE.

Guys tend to get nervous and numb up when they realize another guy is watching them hit on a girl.
If you convince yourself that he is not really there, then you have nothing to worry about. It would feel like as if he is really not there.

If you can't convince yourself, that he is not there. You can calmly tell the guy, "I will be flirting with her for a while, so we will be right over there." Then walk her a few feet away. It clears the pressure to know that a guy is not listening over your shoulder.

So what about if the guys make remarks trying to make you look bad. The thing to do here is ignore them. Don't smile, don't look, don't stop doing what you are doing, make it seem as if you never heard a sound. They will start to look stupid. Just completely ignore them and act like they do not exist.

It is rare though to find guys that will make that dumb remark for a girl they are not going out with. So don't worry.

Finally use your common sense. Don't go and approach a girl you see making out with a dude on a bench.

But if you see a girl in a group you can go up to her and simply ask if she us going out with someone. DON'T assume that a girl is with a guy just because they are walking to class together. So just ask and remember show respect.
